Hudson part of 'Borrowed' time

Kate Hudson is in final talks to star in Alcon’s romantic film "Something Borrowed" opposite Ginnifer Goodwin, John Krasinski and Colin Egglesfield.
The film, based on Emily Giffin's debut novel, will be directed by Luke Greenfield ("The Girl Next Door") from a script by Jennie Snyder Urman ("Lipstick Jungle").
Hudson will play Darcy, the best friend of Goodwin's character who becomes involved with Darcy's fiancé following her 30th birthday.
Alcon’s Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson are producing with 2S Films’ Hilary Swank and Molly Smith. Aaron Lubin and Pamela Schein Murphy of Wild Ocean Films will also produce.
Production is set to begin next month.
According to Variety, Warner Bros. will distribute.
Hudson is currently shooting "Earthbound" with Gael Garcia Bernal.
