Angela Bassett feeling 'Green'

Angela Bassett has boarded the cast of Warner Bros.' live-action film "Green Lantern," based on the DC Comics hero.
Bassett joins a cast that includes Ryan Reynolds, Peter Sarsgaard, Blake Lively, Tim Robbins and Mark Strong. She will play government agent Dr. Amanda Waller.
According to Variety, production recently began in New Orleans with Donald De Line producing and Martin Campbell directing. Greg Berlanti is also producing and wrote the script with Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green. Michael Goldenberg did a rewrite.
Bassett received an Oscar nomination in 1994 for best actress for her portrayal of Tina Turner in "What's Love Got to Do with It."
