Rebecca Hall will star opposite Will Ferrell in the independent drama "Everything Must Go."
Dan Rush wrote the screenplay, based on a Raymond Carver short story, and is making his feature directing debut on the film.
The film centers on a relapsed alcoholic (Ferrell) who, after losing his job and his wife, decides to live on his front lawn while selling all of his belongings.
Hall will play a newcomer to the neighborhood who becomes friends with Ferrell's character.
According to Variety, Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey are producing through their Temple Hill Entertainment production company.
Hall's credits include "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and "Frost/Nixon." She will be seen in Warner Bros.' upcoming crime drama "The Town" and Sony Classics' dark comedy "Please Give."
