Jackman, Oyelowo ready for 'Selma'

Hugh Jackman and David Oyelowo have joined the cast of director Lee Daniels’ "Selma."
Daniels is hot off of two Oscar wins for his previous film, "Precious."
The film will focus on the historic civil rights marches staged by the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. in 1965 in Selma, Alabama.
Oyelowo, who appeared in "The Last King of Scotland" and stars in George Lucas' upcoming "Red Tails," will play the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
Jackman will play a racist sheriff.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the role of Alabama Gov. George Wallace has not been cast yet.
Christian Colson, who is producing Danny Boyle's "127 Hours," will produce "Selma."
