Weinstein Co. rushes for the 'Butter'

The Weinstein Company will distribute the comedy "Butter" with Jennifer Garner starring.
According to Variety, production is set to begin next month in Louisiana.
"Butter" centers on an adopted girl who discovers her talent for butter carving and finds herself up against the ambitious wife (Garner) of the retired reigning champion in a town's annual butter-sculpting contest.
"Butter" was written by Jason Micallef and will be directed by Jim Fields Smith.
Garner is producing through her production company Vandalia Films along with Mike De Luca. "Butter" will be the inaugural film for Garner’s production company.
Garner was recently seen in the romantic comedy, "Valentine's Day."
