Actors join 'Tourist'

Paul Bettany and Rufus Sewell have boarded the cast of the romantic thriller "The Tourist," starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp.
"The Tourist" is produced by GK Films in association with Spyglass, and is produced by Graham King, Tim Headington, Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum and Jonathan Glickman.
The film is currently shooting on location in Venice, Italy. Sony will distribute the film.
According to Variety, Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, who won an Oscar for best foreign-language film with his 2006 film "The Lives of Others," is directing.
The script was written by Julian Fellowes, Christopher McQuarrie and Jeffrey Nachmanoff.
The plot revolves around a brokenhearted American tourist visiting Italy who is caught in a web of international intrigue when he begins a romance with a mysterious female Interpol agent.
Bettany's recent credits include "Legion," "The Young Victoria" and "Creation." Sewell was recently seen in the Wes Craven segment of "Paris je t'aime," "Amazing Grace" and "The Holiday."
