Giamatti, Ryan, Cannavale like to 'Win'

Paul Giamatti, Amy Ryan and Bobby Cannavale will star in writer-director Tom McCarthy's comedy-drama "Win Win" for Fox Searchlight. Melanie Lynskey ("Up in the Air") and Jeffrey Tambor ("Arrested Development") have already been cast.

According to Variety, production begins March 15 in New York.

Lisa Maria Falcone will produce through her Everest Entertainment production company along with Michael London through his Groundswell Productions company. Mary Jane Skalski will also produce.

Giamatti plays a struggling attorney who moonlights as a high school wrestling coach. His life is thrown into chaos when he becomes the legal guardian of a teenage runaway.

McCarthy wrote and directed "The Visitor" and "The Station Agent."
