Jason Segel and Ed Helms will star in the Paramount comedy "Jeff Who Lives at Home."
Judy Greer is also in talks to join the cast.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mark and Jay Duplass are writing and directing the film.
The brothers will produce with Jason Reitman through his Right of Way Films production company and John Malkovich through his Mr. Mudd production company.
The film will follow a day in the life of two very different brothers, one an underachiever (Segel) who lives at home with his mother and the other (Helms) more successful.
Shooting will start next month in Louisiana.
Helms (NBC's "The Office," "The Hangover") just wrapped Fox Searchlight's comedy "Cedar Rapids."
Segel (CBS' "How I Met Your Mother") just booked a supporting role in the Columbia comedy "Bad Teacher," starring Cameron Diaz.
