Jessica Lucas part of 'Momma's' house

Jessica Lucas has booked the female lead in the untitled third installment of the "Big Momma's House" franchise.
Lucas can be currently seen on the CW revival of "Melrose Place."
According to Variety, Martin Lawrence will return in the title role.
Brandon T. Jackson ("Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief," "Tropic Thunder") has been cast as the nephew of Lawrence's character. The story finds Lawrence and Jackson going undercover at an all-girls performing arts school after Jackson witnesses a murder.
Lucas' character will be the love interest for Jackson’s character.
Director John Whitesell will direct with production set to begin in April.
20th Century Fox will distribute.
David T. Friendly, who produced the other two "Big Momma's House" films, will produce through his Friendly Films production company.
