De Niro going to the 'Fields'

Robert De Niro will star opposite Bradley Cooper in Relativity Media's suspense thriller "The Dark Fields."
Universal will distribute the film domestically.
The story centers on a failed New York writer (Cooper) who comes into possession of a designer drug that gives him newfound intelligence and success. De Niro plays a financial giant who pursues Cooper.
According to Variety, Neil Burger ("The Illusionist") will direct from a script by Leslie Dixon with shooting set to begin in Philadelphia in May.
Scott Kroopf, Dixon and Ryan Kavanaugh are producing. Tucker Tooley is executive producing.
De Niro recently finished work on "Little Fockers" and Robert Rodriguez's "Machete."
