Fox betting on 'Monte Carlo'

Disney Channel star Selena Gomez will play one of the three lead roles in the female comedy "Monte Carlo" for Fox 2000.
According to Variety, Leighton Meester is in talks for another one of the leads.
Nicole Kidman, who may also take a supporting role, is producing with Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan.
Tom Bezucha ("The Family Stone") will direct with shooting set to begin in May in Monaco, Budapest and Paris.
Bezucha co-wrote the original script with Maria Maggenti. The newest rewrite was co-written by Bezucha and April Blair.
The film is based on the book "Headhunters" written by Jules Bass.
The story follows a group of young American women as they abandon a boring holiday in Paris and masquerade as wealthy women vacationing in Monaco.
