Stephen Merchant and J.B. Smoove have joined the cast of the New Line comedy "Hall Pass."
Bobby and Peter Farrelly are directing the film that also stars Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, Jenna Fischer and Amanda Bynes.
The story revolves around a pair of married couples who grant the husbands (Wilson and Sudeikis) a free pass to use for extramarital affairs.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Farrellys co-wrote the script with Pete Jones and Kevin Barnett.
The movie starts shooting Tuesday in Atlanta.
Merchant most recently appeared in the Fox family comedy "Tooth Fairy." He has been a writer-director of "The Office" and "Extras."
Smoove has played recurring characters on HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," the CW's "Everybody Hates Chris" and Fox's "'Til Death." He also was a writer and performer on NBC's "Saturday Night Live." Smoove appears in the comedy "Date Night," which Fox releases in April.
