Downey Jr. close to deal with Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. is in negotiations to sign Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, producer Susan Downey, to a first-look production deal.
This concludes a busy week for the studio, which also signed Zac Efron to a two-year producing deal and is in negotiations with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon for a first-look deal.
Downey Jr. starred in the studio's "Sherlock Holmes," on which Susan Downey was a producer. According to Variety, the film has grossed over $460 million worldwide and the studio is already developing a sequel.
He has starred in other Warner films including "Zodiac," "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" and the upcoming "Due Date," directed by Todd Phillips.
Downey Jr.’s next film will be "Iron Man 2," opening in May.
