Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are in advanced negotiations to close a first-look producing deal at Warner Bros.
According to Variety, no details are known but a formal announcement is expected within a few days.
Affleck and Damon previously had a production deal at Disney-based LivePlanet along with Chris Moore and Sean Bailey, who's now head of production for Walt Disney Studios. While at LivePlanet, Affleck, Damon and Moore produced the documentary series "Project Greenlight."
Affleck and Damon collaborated onscreen as well as on the screenplay for 1997's "Good Will Hunting," which won them the Oscar for original screenplay.
Both actors have recent Warner Bros. ties, with Affleck directing and acting in the action film "The Town" while Damon starred in "The Informant" and "Invictus" last year. Damon is up for an Oscar in the supporting actor category for "Invictus."
