'Valentine's Day' dominates holiday weekend

New Line/Warner Bros.' romantic comedy "Valentine's Day" won a record-setting President's Day weekend, which included Valentine’s Day on Sunday, as it opened with $66.9 million.
Fox’s "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" opened with $38.8 million to place second.
Universal’s Benicio Del Toro/Anthony Hopkins film "The Wolfman" opened with $36.5 million to place third.
Fox’s "Avatar" finished fourth with $30 million. Its record-setting domestic cumulative now stands at $667.6 million through nine weekends.
Sony’s romantic drama "Dear John" finished in fifth place with $18.8 million for a domestic cumulative of $56.7 million.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the combined $238 million grossed over the weekend marked an 8% rise from a then-record $220.6 million posted during last year's Presidents Day weekend.
