Pierce Brosnan, Ed Harris and comedian Jim Gaffigan will star in the comedic thriller "Salvation Boulevard" for Mandalay Vision.
According to Variety, George Ratliff ("Joshua") will direct from a screenplay he wrote with Douglas Stone.
The script is based on the book of the same name by Larry Beinhart ("Wag the Dog").
The film finds a former Deadhead-turned-born again-Christian on the run from crazed members of his mega-church who will do anything to protect their pastor.
Mandalay Pictures's Cathy Schulman and Mandalay Vision's Celine Rattray are producing.
Shooting is set to begin in April.
Brosnan can be seen in the upcoming "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief."
Harris’ future projects include "What's Wrong With Virginia" and "The Way Back."
Gaffigan completed "Going the Distance" and "It's Kind of a Funny Story."
