Cruz could go with 'Pirates'

Penelope Cruz is in negotiations to join Johnny Depp in Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides."
Depp is reprising his role of Captain Jack Sparrow, while Cruz's character details are unknown.
The fourth "Pirates" film, directed by Rob Marshall, will start shooting in Hawaii this summer with Jerry Bruckheimer producing.
This will reunite Cruz with her "Nine" director Marshall. Cruz received an Oscar nomination in the best supporting actress category last week for her role in the film.
According to Variety, Disney has set a May 20, 2011, release.
The plot has been kept under wraps, but it is believed that the story will center on the Fountain of Youth.
The script was written by Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott.
