Oscar Nominations Announced

With nine nominations each, "Avatar" and "The Hurt Locker" led all 2009 films as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the Oscar nominations for the 82nd annual Academy Awards Tuesday morning.

For the first time since 1943, 10 pictures will compete for Best Picture.

The winners will be announced March 7. The full list of nominees follows:
