Zac Efron to be a spy

Universal has picked up the rights to the graphic novel “Fire” by Brian Michael Bendis with Zac Efron attached to star.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Efron will executive produce with his manager, Jason Barrett.
Neal Moritz is producing with David Engel of Circle of Confusion.
Bendis wrote and drew the comic before he went on to become one of Marvel Comics’ top writers and will write the screenplay.
The story centers on a college student who joins a special CIA project that experiments on training ordinary citizens to be agents.
Efron can be seen in the upcoming Burr Steers drama “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.”
