'Pirates of the Caribbean' going to Hawaii

"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," the fourth installment of Disney's popular "Pirates of the Caribbean" series, will be filmed in Hawaii.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, shooting will begin in the summer on Oahu and Kauai and be released in 2011.

Johnny Depp will reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the film.

The proposed story for the film is for Jack Sparrow and Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) to meet up and sail to find the Fountain of Youth together. Original stars Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom will not be returning.

The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Rob Marshall. Marshall’s last film was the musical "Nine" from last year.
