By Adnan Tezer Jan 20, 2010, 2:21 GMT
Clark Gregg will reprise his role from "Iron Man" as Agent Coulson in "Thor."
Coulson is the latest character to appear in multiple Marvel productions as the comic book company's film division readies for the future production of "The Avengers," which will unite Marvel characters Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Captain America and Thor.
According to Variety, Gregg's Agent Coulson also will return in the upcoming "Iron Man 2."
"Thor," which Kenneth Branagh is directing now, stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, as well as Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellen Skarsgard and Kat Dennings.
Gregg is a regular on CBS’ "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and recently appeared in the indie hit "(500) Days of Summer." Gregg directed "Choke" in 2008, based on the Chuck Palahniuk novel.
