By Adnan Tezer Jan 6, 2010, 3:16 GMT
Ron Howard's next directing job will star Vince Vaughn in an untitled Allan Loeb-written comedy.
According to Variety, Universal Pictures will begin production this spring in Chicago.
Imagine Entertainment's Brian Grazer came up with the idea and will produce with Vaughn and his Wild West Picture Show production company.
The story follows a man who learns that his best friend's wife is cheating on him and must then decide what to do with the knowledge.
Howard’s last film was 2009’s "Angels & Demons" but his last comedy was 1999’s "Edtv."
Loeb's recent scripts include "21" and the upcoming Oliver Stone-directed "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps."
