Punch goes 'Earthbound'

Lucy Punch has joined the cast of The Film Department's "Earthbound."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, shooting begins this month in Louisiana. Kate Hudson and Gael Garcia Bernal have already been cast.
"The Woodsman" director Nicole Kassell is directing from a screenplay by Gren Wells.
The film follows a woman (Hudson) who learns she has cancer before meeting a new man. Punch will play her best friend.
John Davis, Mark Gill, Robert Katz and Adam Schroeder are producing. Neil Sacker and Michael Goguen are executive producers.
Punch will be seen in the upcoming Universal comedy "Young Americans;" the DreamWorks comedy "Dinner for Schmucks;" and Woody Allen's "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger."
