'Gossip Girl' actor to star in horror film

"Gossip Girl" actor Sebastian Stan will co-star with Ashley Greene in "The Apparition," a supernatural horror film from Dark Castle Entertainment.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Todd Lincoln is directing from a script that he wrote.
The two actors play a couple who are haunted by a supernatural being that is let loose during a college experiment.
Joel Silver, Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are producing. Steve Richards, Sue Baden Powell and Daniel Alter are executive producing.
Shooting will begin February 1 at Studio Babelsberg in Germany and finish up in Los Angeles later in March.
Stan will appear in Darren Aronofsky's thriller "Black Swan" as well as the John Cusack comedy "Hot Tub Time Machine."
