Bryan Singer will be returning to Fox to direct the next "X-Men" movie.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has hired Jamie Moss to write the screenplay for “X-Men: First Class” and work with Singer on the project.
No story deals have been confirmed but it is believed that the film will deal with the first meeting of Charles Xavier and Magneto and involve the creation of the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, the school that fronts as the headquarters of the X-Men.
Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg will be producing.
Singer’s next directing project before doing “X-Men: First Class” will likely be New Line’s “Jack the Giant Killer.”
