Taylor Lautner to carry 'Max Steel'

Paramount has signed "New Moon" actor Taylor Lautner to star in "Max Steel," based on the Mattel action figure.
The story will center on a 19-year-old extreme sports athlete recruited by a secret agency after an accident leaves him with superhuman abilities.
According to Variety, there is no director attached yet. Chad Damiani and J.P. Lavin will write the screenplay.
