Donnelly and Oppenheimer go for 'Fortune'

Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer have been hired by Columbia to write the adaptation of the video game "Uncharted: Drake Fortune."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be produced by Avi Arad, Charles Roven, Ari Arad and Alex Gartner.

The duo’s credits include "Sahara" as well as the upcoming "Dead of Night" and "Conan" remake.

"Uncharted" follows the adventures of Nathan Drake, descendant of the explorer Sir Francis Drake, as he chases after the lost treasure of El Dorado.
