Weitz likes his 'Gardener'

Director Chris Weitz is in discussions with Summit Entertainment for his follow-up film in the midst of his new film "New Moon" dominating the worldwide box office over the weekend.
According to Variety, Weitz said he plans to go to work for Summit right away on "The Gardener," with deals being prepped for Weitz and Eric Eason, who wrote the screenplay. The picture focuses on a hard-working immigrant living in Los Angeles and his efforts to protect his son.
Production is scheduled for a March or April start.
