Sam Worthington does the 'Crime'

Sam Worthington is attached to star in the sci-fi film "The Last Days of American Crime."

The story will be set in the near future where the U.S. government plans to secretly broadcast a signal that will make it impossible for anyone to knowingly commit crimes.

The film will be based on Rick Remender's comic book of the same name which will be released next month as a bi-monthly, three-issue miniseries. Radical Publishing will publish.

According to Variety, Barry Levine of Radical Publishing will produce alongside Michael Schwartz.
