'Thor' gets his Warrior’s Three

Stuart Townsend, Ray Stevenson and Tadanobu Asano have been cast as Warrior’s Three, the trio of Asgardian warriors who fight alongside Thor in the Marvel Entertainment film "Thor."
Townsend plays Fandral, a character that was inspired by Errol Flynn and his swashbuckling movies. Stevenson plays Volstagg the Valiant, a tough brawler inspired by Shakespeare’s Falstaff. Asano plays Hogun the Grim, the third warrior and traveling companion of Thor, who is played by Chris Hemsworth.
Kenneth Branagh is directing with Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston and Natalie Portman starring.
The script was written by Mark Protosevich and Zack Stentz.
According to Variety, Paramount Pictures will release "Thor" on May 20, 2011.
