Hawkins, Macy like a 'Dirty Girl'

Sally Hawkins and William H. Macy have been cast in Abe Sylvia's feature directorial debut, "Dirty Girl." Sylvia, a Broadway performer and choreographer, will begin shooting from his script in March.

According to Variety, the film also stars Lisa Kudrow, Juno Temple and Jeremy Dozier.

The 1980s-set coming-of-age comedy revolves around a high school slut who befriends a shy and overweight gay teen. Together, they set off to find her real father in California.

Rob Paris, Charles Pugliese, Jana Edelbaum and Rachel Cohen are producing. Christine Vachon, Pam Koffler and Michael Lesser are executive producing.
