'Dinner' is set for Ron Livingston

Ron Livingston has joined the cast of the Jay Roach-directed comedy "Dinner for Schmucks."

Steve Carell and Paul Rudd have already been cast.

According to Variety, the film is being co-financed by DreamWorks, Spyglass and Paramount.

The film is an adaptation of the Francis Veber-directed French film "Le dinner de cons," in which a group of well-to-do friends regularly invite the biggest losers to dinner to ridicule them.
