Anne Hathaway, Neil Patrick Harris going to 'Rio'

Anne Hathaway, Neil Patrick Harris and Rodrigo Santoro are in talks to lend their voices to "Rio," the next animated collaboration between Blue Sky Studios, Fox Animation and director Carlos Saldanha.

The film follows the adventures of a geeky macaw who escapes from his small-town Minnesota cage and goes to Rio de Janeiro.

The film has an April 8, 2011 release date and will be filmed in 3D digital animation.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Jenkins ("Surf's Up") and Bruce Anderson ("Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!") are producing.
