Ann Peacock will write the adaptation of the novel "Airman" for Disney and Robert Zemeckis' ImageMovers.According to Variety, Gil Kenan is directing and Zemeckis, Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey are producing the $150 million motion-capture fantasy adventure through their ImageMovers production company.Based on a book by Eoin Colfer, the story focuses on Conor, a boy who lives on an island off the coast of Ireland, where his father is the king's bodyguard. When the king is murdered, Conor is blamed for the crime and thrown into prison where he passes the time designing a one-man, gas-propelled airplane that he will use to save his family.Peacock is best known for writing the adaptation of "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe."
