Fred Thompson to ride 'Secretariat'

Fred Thompson (“Law and Order”) has been added to the biopic “Secretariat,” starring Diane Lane.

The film is based on the story of the Triple Crown-winning racehorse and its relationship with its owner, Penny Chenery, played by Lane.

According to Variety, Thompson plays Bull Hancock, an old friend of the Chenery family.
