Dwayne Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson and Steve Coogan are joining the Columbia Pictures comedy "The Other Guys."Johnson and Jackson will play infamous cops in the film directed by Adam McKay. Coogan will play the villain.According to Variety, the actors join stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. "Other Guys" will open next Aug. 6.Johnson and Jackson will play an elite cop tandem whose actions are the envy of the department and the second-tier fellow cops played by Ferrell and Wahlberg.Written by Chris Henchy and McKay, the film is a co-production between Gary Sanchez Productions and Mosaic.
