Chazz joins the 'Mafia'

Chazz Palminteri will write and co-produce the independent drama "Wall Street Mafia" for Fiore Films, with shooting to start in New York in February.

According to Variety, Palminteri may also co-star in the film.

"Wall Street Mafia" is based on the true story of the FBI's investigation into the mob's involvement in Wall Street and the world of finance during the mid-1990s.

The film centers on a young executive who leaves Brooklyn for a career at a supposedly reputable Wall Street brokerage house and then finds himself trapped between the mafia and the FBI, which uses aggressive tactics to get him to talk.
