At the time it was believed that the film’s storyline would involve Rambo battling human traffickers and drug lords in order to rescue a young girl abducted near the U.S.-Mexico border. According to The Moving Picture, Stallone has revealed that the new film won’t see Rambo battling human traffickers and drug lords at all. The film has been titled "Rambo V: The Savage Hunt" and will have Rambo facing a different enemy. The new film will be set in the Pacific Northwest where a U.S. Military installation has been experimenting on elite soldiers as part of a program where they’re attempting to create killer soldiers with no morality when it comes to killing. The government succeeds in creating the perfect killer, but something goes wrong. Rambo is part of a Black Operations squad brought in to stop the soldier.
