Sony pushes 'Green Hornet' back to December

Sony's "The Green Hornet" is being moved from summer 2010 and will instead be released on Dec. 17, 2010.
According to Variety, Michel Gondry begins directing the Seth Rogen action film this week, making it impossible for the special effects-heavy film to be ready by July 9.
The film stars Rogen as a suave newspaperman who becomes a masked crimefighter at night known as the Green Hornet. Jay Chou stars as Kato.
This marks the second time the film’s release date has been moved. Sony announced in early July that it was pushing back the release from June 25, 2010, to July 9.
