Hardwicke to take trip with 'Riding Hood'

"Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke is signing on to direct Appian Way's "The Girl With the Red Riding Hood."

The werewolf movie, written by David Johnson, is a gothic retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood story, with a teenage love triangle at its center.

According to Variety, "Red" is set up at Warner Bros., where Appian Way has a first-look deal.
