'G-Force' forces top spot from 'Potter'

Disney’s family film "G-Force" was the favorite at the domestic box office, opening over the weekend to an estimated $32.1 million beating Warner Bros. holdover "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" which came in second with $30 million to bring its 12-day cumulative to $221.8 million.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony’s romantic comedy "The Ugly Truth," starring Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler, came in third as it debuted to $27 million.

Warners and Dark Castle’s horror pic "Orphan" debuted at fourth place with a solid, but not spectacular, $12.8 million.

Fox's 3D animated feature "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" finished fifth, with $8.2 million for a cumulative of $171.3 million.
