Totally awesome special effects! I am actually concernred about this doomsday when I have laughed at all the others. This date and possibilities are backed by science & history. Scary stuff for sure!
The trailer does stir some strange emotions. Who'd want to survive in a world without the Christos statue, the Eiffel Tower, St. Peter's? The utter globalization of the destruction gives it a great deal of power.
This site has a lot of info on the 2012 cult: 2012oracle.org I actually met Algrandus last year during a seminar in Mexico. Very interesting stuff.
I realy can't wait to see '2012' from Roland Emmerich, the Spielberg from Germany (his nickname in Germany). His last Blockbuster 10.000 BC wasn't sooo great, but i'm still a great fan. I got the theory he's using the 'Planet Nibiru or Niburu' - possibility, that a planet from outerspace will collide with earth or sth like that, in the 2nd trailer you could see a 3. little planet while earth was visible in space.
It's just also incredible, that the composer HARALD KLOSER is co-writer, he was mostly only composer, now producer, composer AND co-writer, that is so cool...
Just pure curiosity: what will you do on december 21, 2012? :)
cheerio
21st December 2012 I'd probably be christmas shopping, going to bed at night and waking up on the 22nd December 2012 alive and with the world in 1 piece.
They laughed and made fun of Moses when he built the Ark too! Something is gonna happen and I do not beleive that Dec. 22, 2012 will be just like any other day in our lives. We shall soon see won't we?
Well, I'm pretty sure they didn't laugh at Moses over the ark since I BUILT IT! I don't think that quoting biblical references about me are proper anyways since 2012 has nothing to do with the bible but with a pagan civilization.
Sincerely,
Noah The Official Ark Builder (Not to be confused with Moses)
