'The Hangover' surprises 'Up' from No. 1 spot

Disney/Pixar's "Up" moved down in weekend domestic boxoffice rankings Monday, when final numbers showed that Warner Bros.' "The Hangover" brought in $45 million.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Up," had been declared the weekend winner with an estimated $44.2 million over its second session. "Up" actually grossed $44.3 million through Sunday, but the R-rated comedy "Hangover" improved from an estimated $43.3 million to an actual $45 million weekend tally.
The weekend's No. 3 finisher remained the same, with Universal's disappointing "Land of the Lost" falling from an estimated $19.5 million to an actual $18.8 million for its first three days. When the initial weekend figures were released, Night At The Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian finished No. 4 with $14.6 million while Star Trek finished at No. 5 with $8.4 million.
