Trio take to the air in George Lucas' 'Red Tails'

Terrence Howard has joined the cast of George Lucas' WWII drama 'Red Tails.' © Albert L. Ortega / PR PhotosBased on a story written by George Lucas 'Red Tails' is a fictional tale about the Tuskegee Airmen of World War II. The movie follows the young pilots who have to overcome racism in the military to become the first African-American fighter pilots in U.S. military history.According to The Hollywood Reporter the pair will head ensemble cast that also includes Method Man, Lee Tergesen, Ne-Yo, Elijah Kelley, Andre Royo, Nate Parker, David Oyelowo and Tristan Wilds.Lucas is executive producing and financing the film through his Lucasfilm production company.Anthony Hemingway is directing from a script by John Ridley.Filming is set to start this month in Europe.
