Jamie Campbell-Bower joins cast of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon'

British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower has been cast in Summit's adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon.'

Variety reports Campbell-Bower will play a member of the Volturi, Italy's reigning royal family of blood suckers.

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' continues the modern-day vampire love story of Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) as they face new obstacles, including a separation, mysterious wolves roaming the forest in Forks and a vengeful female vampire.

Chris Weitz is directing from a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg.

The first film, 'Twilight,' has made $380 million worldwide since release.

Filming of 'New Moon' started this month in Vancouver.
