War of the Worlds Release Date

The Release date to War of the Worlds has been announced, and when it is released it will be a clash of titans. Paramounts War of the Worlds is set for released on the 29th June 2005, which is 2 days before 20th Century Fox's Fantastic 4 movie.
Both will be released on the Independence day weekend, but War of the World will have a 6 day weekend, while Fantastic 4 will be a 4 day weekend (Including the Monday holiday). This was reported by The Hollywood Reporter who also claimed 'Neither of the studios were backing down'.
The War of the Worlds willl be released Wednesday 29th June 2005 across the United States
Fantastic 4 will go out on Friday 1st July 2005.
