Gil Netter ("Marley and Me") will handle producing chores with Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove. Executive producing duties will be handled by Molly Smith, Erwin Stoff and Tim Bourne.The film is based on Michael Lewis’ "The Blind Side: Evolution of the Game" and was adapted by and will be directed by John Lee Hancock ("My Dog Skip," "The Rookie").The story follows Michael Oher - a homeless teen taken in by a wealthy family and expected to be one of the top picks in year's NFL draft.Bullock has signed on to play the head of the conservative family that takes Oher.She is also returning to the big screen with the upcoming romantic comedy "The Proposal" with Ryan Reynolds and Fox’s "All About Steve."
