Katherine Heigl joins Ashton Kutcher for ‘Five Killers’

Katherine Heigl will star with Ashton Kutcher in Lionsgate’s upcoming thriller "Five Killers."
Variety reports the film will see Heigl back with director Robert Luketic - who worked with the actress on the romantic comedy “The Ugly Truth.”
The film will be produced by Scott Aversano, and Katalyst Films' Jason Goldberg. Mike Karz, Josie Rosen, Christopher Pratt and Chad Marting are also expected to serve as producers.
The film’s plot follows a couple who meet on vacation, get married and settle in for a happy life. The couple’s happy world is changed when they discover their neighbors could be assassins with orders to kill them.
The film is scheduled to start shooting in March in Atlanta. Shooting is also scheduled to take place in the south of France.
Heigl broke big with ABC’s hit drama “Grey’s Anatomy” and has seen success with a jump to the big screen – which has further sparked rumors she is planning to leave the show to focus more on a movie career.
