Variety reports Gaiman is lined up to produce the film – which is scheduled to be shot as a live-action adaptation. London’s Framestore has been hired to work on the film’s special effects.
"The Graveyard Book" follows an orphan raised by ghosts in a cemetery.
The author made an announcement about the film and Jordan's involvement during an interview on "The Today Show." Gaiman was on the show to promote the release of Focus Features' animated film "Coraline" – which director Henry Selick adapted from Gaiman's story.
Jordan is at work finishing up “Ondine” with Colin Farrell.
