‘Marley and Me’ stays on top

Twentieth Century Fox's comedy "Marley and Me" held the top spot at the weekend box office with an estimated $24 million. The film has earned an estimated $106.5 million in 11 days.

Variety reports the Owen Wilson/ Jennifer Aniston comedy joined other Christmas openers – including Disney's "Bedtime Stories," Paramount's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and United Artists/MGM's "Valkyrie" - for another strong weekend. The film is based on the memoir about a journalist and the family dog, and it looks like the comedy could have long legs at the box office in January."Bedtime Stories" held the No. 2 spot at the weekend box office with an estimated $20.3 million. The Adam Sandler comedy has earned $85.3 million since it was released.David Fincher's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett took the No. 3 spot at the weekend box office with an estimated $18.4 million. It has earned $79 million since its release.In Variety, Paramount vice chair Rob Moore stated: "What's so great is you've got a movie that is so unique that has been embraced by audiences. It's off to a spectacular start and should have a great hold." The Tom Cruise World War II thriller "Valkyrie" took the No. 4 spot at the weekend box office with an estimated $14 million. The Bryan Singer directed film has earned $60.7 million since its release.Warner Bros.' comedy “Yes Man” with Jim Carrey claimed the No. 5 spot with an estimated $13.9 million. The film dropped 17%, but has earned an estimated $79.4 million since its release.Sony’s “Seven Pounds” with Will Smith showed it has some legs with a No. 6 placing at the weekend box office in its third week of release. The film earned an estimated $10 million this weekend and has earned an estimated $60 million since its release. Universal's family film "The Tale of Despereaux" took the No. 7 spot with an estimated $7 million. It dropped 21%, but has earned an estimated $43.7 million since its release.Miramax's drama “Doubt” with Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman took the No. 8 spot with an estimated $5 million. It has earned $18.6 million in four weeks.Lionsgate saw Frank Miller’s superhero flick "The Spirit" have a rough weekend at the box office. The film earned an estimated $3.3 and took the No. 13 spot. It has earned $17.8 million in 11 days.

Jennifer looks so unbelievable hot. I read here (www.projectweightloss.com) about what she eats to keep her body so slim and, wow, she’s got a pretty simple “trick” up her sleeve.
